Himalayan salt commonly known as Pink Salt is a rock salt. It is mined from the Punjab Region of Pakistan. Its pinkish colour is mainly due to mineral impurities in it. Its primary use is as a food additive (table salt) however it is also used as many other options like:
- material for cooking;
- food presentation;
- decorative lamps;
- floor and wall material; and
- spa treatments.
